Ships with up to 1,500 tons of displacement and length between 60 and 100 meters. They possess armament inferior to Frigates and they have less oceanic capabilities. The corvettes perform missions in the area of safety and state authority at Sea and in the area of self-defense and support to the external policy in low-intensity scenarios.
