Hydrographic Survey Vessels

A ship specially built or equipped for performing hydrographic or oceanographic tasks. It has several scientific and technical capabilities to enable the performance of investigative and development activities. It may have laboratorial areas for the research of biologic, physical and chemical parameters, among other capabilities. They perform, as a general rule, missions of scientific support for military operations and for the scientific community in national and international waters.
